The fifth edition of Mission Shakti, launched by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during the Navratri festival has been featuring several events aimed at creating awareness about women and children, especially their safety at workplaces and public spaces.
The event, which will run through Dec, will see govt host initiatives like International Girl Child Day, Operation Mukti, Bal Carnival, Veerangana Day, and Swavalamban Camp. Women and Child Development department has planned a series of events from Oct to Dec. In this context a Bal Carnival was organised yesterday i.e. 09 November,2024 to celebrate children’s talents and promote their holistic development. The event featured yoga and meditation session, along with plays inspired by the lives of great leaders.
